Telecommunications equipment maker Ericsson on Monday said it has won a multiyear contract with AT&T for prepaid services in the United States and Puerto Rico.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ericsson, the world's biggest mobile-network maker, said in a statement that the new contract adds a further three and a half years to an existing agreement, under which Ericsson provides real-time charging services for the U.S. company's GoPhone wireless service. "Under the contract, Ericsson will be responsible for hosting, systems integration, and management of the day-to-day operations of the prepaid service for AT&T," the statement said.
