SanDisk on Tuesday announced new flash memory cards with higher capacities, designed to fit into consumer gizmos like digital cameras, camcorders and cell phones.

Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick Pro Duo and SD cards now have 4-gigabyte, 1GB and 2GB capacity, respectively, the company said. The cards, featuring MagicGate technology, have enhanced capacity, data transfer speed and security.
