The deal calls for Provo, Utah-based Novell to pay $9 for each of the approximately 23.6 million outstanding shares of SilverStream. SilverStream should have about $100 million in cash on hand at the end of the deal, Novell said. --Margaret Kane, Special to ZDNet News
