Mobile TV, which is in the early stages of development, joins Web surfing and music as an emerging wireless feature expected to boost service revenue as mobile calling prices fall.
Called the Mobile TV DH01, the device, which will be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week, is pocket-size with a 4.3-inch video screen, Motorola said.
It has a five-minute memory buffer that allows users to pause live television and also supports memory cards that can store up to 90 minutes of video, according to the company.

The company said that the device's rechargeable battery supports four hours of playback time.
