U.S. video-on-demand Webcaster ReelTime.com has struck an agreement with children's entertainment specialist Nelvana for rights to a selection of its cartoons.

The agreement will see ReelTime.com acquire Nelvana titles including Jacob Two-Two, Rupert, My Dad the Rock Star, and Flying Rhino Junior High, and then market them to consumers via a monthly subscription model. Nelvana earlier in January announced that about 650 library episodes will be available to consumers via the U.K.-based Coolroom download store. Toronto-based Nelvana began selling its content over the Internet in 2006 when it launched TreehouseDirect as a digital download site.
