BARCELONA--Apple is recruiting staff for new retail stores in Germany and Switzerland, according to a job opportunities link on its Web site. On the page the company lists a number of stores, including Munich, Geneva and Zurich. It does not yet have any stores in either Germany or Switzerland.

The links do not provide details but open up into an email window. Apple was not immediately available for comment. In Europe, Apple operates retail stores in Britain and Italy.
