Short clip: Tasty Baking's new LEED factory

Brendan O'Malley, CIO at Tasty Baking talks about the company's green goals, which includes building a new LEED certified food factory and managing power and cooling within the data center.

>> Now you're starting with a kind of green field in this new facility do you have a strategy around green and being more environmentally friendly?

>> Absolutely. Both the head quarters and the bakery we're both going for the certification, the lead certification and we've already taken a bunch of steps in our current operation to become more green with NIT particularly around power and cooling. Within the data center we've done a tremendous amount of work around virtualization and significantly reduced our server footprint and you know the number of machines that we're using so that for us has been a great benefit even today that will carry forward and continue to hammer away at as we get to those new facilities.
