Why Intel dual core?
This year, Intel will be introducing a slew of new dual-core processors. Shannon Poulin, Intel's enterprise marketing director, shows off 'Conroe' in the uniprocessor space, 'Woodcrest' and 'Tulsa' in the Xeon space and 'Montecito' in the Itanium space. Some of the new processors will be used in
new platforms with new chip sets and a dedicated front-side bus.
