This is just a natural result of several factors....
The primary one is the DELL EFFECT. Everything tech is
becoming a commodity. Starting with computers and
peripherals themselves and stretching out to cover everything
that Dell is touching including SERVERS and with times Services.
Now with things going into a commodity market who can pay or
wants to pay for support? I mean back in the day with a single
computer cost upwards of 4 grand paying for support was
logical. Now that 4 grand can fill a room with computers what is
the average company going to be willing to pay for support?

The Dell effect will strangle us all...
